| Due to limitations in the way SchoolFusion processes the automated Recent Activity and Daily Digest email, homework, files, calendar events, etc. posted AFTER 1 p.m. will not be included in the Recent Activity and Event Digest email for the day. Therefore, if a teacher has told students that they have a homework assignment at the end of class but it isn’t posted until 3 p.m., then it will not show up in the email. To avoid missing critical and updated information to teacher sites, parents and students are encouraged to login to the system at any time to access the “My Family” (for parents) and “My Classrooms” (for students) links for current information, as well as to sign up for a personalized RSS feed. |

Benton is proud to welcome Daks Grill in Dale City into the Cougar Community. Daks Grill (located in front of Parkway Ford) is our newest Business Partner, and will be hosting a Spirit Night for Benton once a month. The first one is coming up soon - February 9. Daks will contribute 30% of the proceeds to Benton. Visit Daks on the web.

There are now sufficient lockers for the entire student body. Since these new lockers have been assigned, there should be no locker sharing between students. Any student having a locker problem should see Mr. Wernlein,
Benton is proud to continue its partnership with Moe's Southwest Grill. Our first Moe's Night on 1/20 was tons of fun! Thanks to all of the teachers, students, and parents who came out to support Benton.
The next Spirit Night is Wednesday, February 17. Moe's has generously agreed to donate a percentage of ALL proceeds from 5 pm - 8pm on each of the Spirit Nights. So, pencil in February 17th on your calendar - and we'll see you at Moe's!
